Our Story

Baked From Family Recipes

Being the oldest of 7, baking was “my” time alone with my grandmother. Every recipe starts the way it did in her kitchen — real ingredients, no shortcuts, and a WHOLE LOTTA LOVE!

One Thanksgiving season I was giving away mini pies at the hospital where I worked. The hospital also did an Adopt-A-Family campaign every year. I would bake for our department so that we could raise money for as many families as possible. Soon, people began asking for “the pie lady?” Shugah Pies was born!

Yes — every filling is made with real ingredients, with no preservatives and no artificial colors or flavors.

How should I store my filling?

Keep them cold until you're ready to bake. Thaw your filling overnight in the refrigerator, on your counter for a few hours, or in the microwave if in a hurry.

What size are the filling containers?

Each container is 24 oz (680 g) — enough to fill one 10" deep-dish pie or twelve mini pies.

Do you offer pickup or delivery?

Whole baked pies and specialty baked treats are available locally only. Tea Cakes can be shipped nationwide. Call ahead for local pickup and delivery times.
